Shipping & Returns

DOMESTIC SHIPPING POLICY

Packages will be shipped at our soonest convenience. Courier may take up to 2-4 workings days from the day we’ve send your parcel (public holidays not included). Courier deliveries are made to street addresses and not PO Box addresses. Deliveries do not occur over weekends and public holidays. 

Once your order has been shipped, we will email you a tracking number which you can use to track the progress of your order. Delivery delays can occasionally occur.

An order will only be dispatched upon:

  • The acceptance of your payment;
  • Verification of delivery / billing address.

Lost, delayed or damaged items

Should ordered items be delayed or lost, the buyer should contact the seller info@sadiekids.co.za stating the tracking number. However, Sadiekids cannot be held liable for any damage or lost by a third party once it has been handed over to the courier company. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.

Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim. 

Order confirmation

  • A confirmation e-mail will be sent to the buyer when the order has been dispatched.
  • Should no email, as referred to above, be received, the buyer should contact the seller at info@sadiekids.co.za

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING POLICY

We currently do not ship outside of RSA.

WARRANTY 

Sadiekids offers a 3 month warranty on our play mats. Imperfections deemed the responsibility of the manufacturer are covered and must be reported to us by email info@sadiekids.co.za immediately. Wear and tear marks are not covered under warranty. 

RETURN-, EXCHANGE- AND REFUND POLICY

Transport charges for products returned for refund or exchange shall be for the account of the customer.

Returns and exchanges

Returns:

Our return policy complies with the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa.

To be eligible for a return, your item must:

  • be returned within 7 working days in the original packaging
  • be undamaged and in the same condition that you've received it
  • be brought to our attention within 7 working days by sending us your invoice number, as well as an explanation why you would like to return the product.

We will not provide refunds for;

  • Any item not in original condition and packaging, damaged or defective for reasons not due to our error 
  • Any item that is returned more than 7 working days after delivery
  • Any item not brought to our attention before 7 working days after delivery.
  • Sale items

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Please make it a priority to track your item. We will not be responsible for your missing return. Any returns by our contracted couriers must first be authorised and needs to be arranged by ourselves.

Exchanges:

When a client logs an exchange, we will send a quotation for the exchange and courier costs involved. After the quote is accepted by the client, we will make the necessary arrangements. Once the returned item is received and inspected, the new items will be couriered to the same address as the original order. Please note that courier prices to outlying areas or smaller towns are more expensive than to mainland areas. Any returns by our contracted couriers must first be authorized and need to be arranged by us.

Products exchanged (or returned) must be adequately packaged in the original packaging. Where the original packaging was discarded, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the item is packaged adequately to avoid damage in transit. Our contracted third-party couriers do not offer packaging services and may refuse to accept products without adequate packaging. In the event that our couriers collect an item not packaged properly or assist the client with packaging, this shall be done at the customer’s own risk.

It is advised that customers take adequate photos of the products they wish to return (covering all areas and angles), as we will hold the customer liable for any damages to the product when received.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you have been approved, then your refund (less the shipping costs) will be processed. No refunds for items purchased more than 6 months ago. We will email you to confirm your bank details for the refund.
